Course Overview:
This qualification is for those who are interested in working in a Health and Social Care environment and who are looking to specialise their knowledge and understanding of working in end-of-life care It provides the opportunity to develop an understanding of different perspectives of death and dying, and the impact it has on individuals. It covers the aims and principles of end-of-life care, communication factors and how to access a range of support services in end-of-life care.

This is suitable for anyone who wants to work in social care in either local authority or private care environments. It is also suitable for qualified practitioners who have not covered end-of-life care in previous qualifications.
