Course Overview:
This qualification is for those learners working in an Adult Social Care environment and who are looking to develop their knowledge and understanding and provides an ideal taster for those who may be new to the sector or new to the world of work.
It is accessible to learners of all ages who may want to understand more about working in health and social care in an unsupervised capacity. It aims to introduce some basic concepts of caring and preparation for employment in the sector.

Assessment method
The qualification will be assessed by a portfolio of evidence. Your personal assessor will conduct monthly meetings via Teams to review and develop your progress towards the qualification.
All assessments need to be passed, and each will directly assess the knowledge, skills and behaviours of the qualification
