Course Overview:
The iCQ Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Individuals with Learning Disabilities has been specifically designed for learners who work in health and social care in adult settings supporting individuals with learning disabilities and will give learners the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills to support individuals with learning disabilities.
It is aimed at learners who, as part of their job role, support individuals with learning disabilities. The qualification covers a range of subjects related to the knowledge required to work with adults with learning disabilities in the health and social care sector.
This qualification meets the Learning Disabilities Core Skills Education and Training Framework which was commissioned and funded by the Department of Health and developed in collaboration by Skills for Health, Health Education England (HEE) and Skills for Care to support the development of workers in their understanding of learning disabilities.

Assessment method
The qualification will be assessed by a portfolio of evidence. Your personal assessor will conduct monthly meetings via Teams to review and develop your progress towards the qualification.
All assessments need to be passed, and each will directly assess the knowledge, skills and behaviours of the qualification
