Course Overview:
The primary purpose of this qualification is to introduce you to health and social care and young people's settings and help you prepare to enter, or progress within, employment in job roles in these sectors. This qualification is appropriate for you if need to develop a broad knowledge, understanding and awareness of health and social care and young people's settings.
This qualification is made up of units that will develop your knowledge, understanding and awareness needed to work effectively in health, social care and children's and young people's settings. You will be able to use the knowledge you develop to underpin your competence.

Entry Requirements: You don’t need any formal qualifications to enrol on this course. Learners will need to produce full and articulate answers to questions. Learners will need to have a good standard of written and verbal communication skills.

Assessment method
The qualification will be assessed by a portfolio of evidence. Your personal assessor will conduct monthly meetings via Teams to review and develop your progress towards the qualification.
All assessments need to be passed, and each will directly assess the knowledge, skills and behaviours of the qualification.
