iCQ Level 2 Award in Awareness of Dementia (RQF)

Overview

A qualification that develops learners’ understanding of dementia, including its causes, symptoms, and the impact it can have on individuals and their families. It also introduces approaches to providing positive and supportive care for people living with dementia. The course is suitable for people working in, or interested in working in, health and social care settings who want to improve their knowledge and awareness of dementia.

Assessment

The qualification will be assessed by a portfolio of evidence. Your personal assessor will conduct monthly meetings via Teams to review and develop your progress towards the qualification. | All assessments need to be passed, and each will directly assess the knowledge, skills and behaviours of the qualification.
