A qualification that introduces the key principles and practices involved in supporting individuals approaching the end of life. It helps learners understand topics such as communication, dignity and respect, perspectives on death and dying, and the support services available for individuals and their families. The course is designed for people working in, or planning to work in, health and social care roles who want to develop their knowledge of end-of-life care.

The qualification will be assessed by a portfolio of evidence. Your personal assessor will conduct monthly meetings via Teams to review and develop your progress towards the qualification. | All assessments need to be passed, and each will directly assess the knowledge, skills and behaviours of the qualification.
