iCQ Level 3 Award in Awareness of Dementia (RQF)

Overview

A qualification that provides in-depth knowledge of dementia and how to support individuals living with the condition. It covers areas such as person-centred approaches, communication, managing behaviours associated with dementia, and promoting wellbeing. The course is suitable for individuals working in health and social care settings who support people with dementia and want to develop more advanced knowledge and skills in dementia care.

Assessment

The qualification will be assessed by a portfolio of evidence. Your personal assessor will conduct monthly meetings via Teams to review and develop your progress towards the qualification. | All assessments need to be passed, and each will directly assess the knowledge, skills and behaviours of the qualification.
