Overview

A work-based qualification that develops the knowledge, skills, and competence required to provide high-quality care and support to adults. It covers areas such as person-centred care, safeguarding, communication, health and safety, and supporting individuals with a range of needs. The course is designed for individuals working in adult social care roles, such as care workers or support workers, who want to develop their skills and progress in their careers.

Assessment

The qualification will be assessed by a portfolio of evidence. Your personal assessor will conduct monthly meetings via Teams to review and develop your progress towards the qualification. | All assessments need to be passed, and each will directly assess the knowledge, skills and behaviours of the qualification.
