This qualification is aimed at learners who wish to work within an Early Years Setting. It sets out the minimum knowledge, understanding and skills that a level 2 early years practitioner needs to demonstrate to be considered qualified to support young children from birth to 5 years old. | This qualification meets the Early Years Practitioner (EYP) criteria, for the purposes of the staff: child ratios at level 2 in the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
