iCQ Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Dementia Care (RQF)

Overview

An introductory qualification that provides essential knowledge needed to work in adult social care settings. It covers key areas such as communication, safeguarding, duty of care, equality and diversity, and health and safety. The course is designed for individuals who want to start a career in adult social care or who are new to care roles and need a foundation before progressing into employment or further training.

Assessment

The qualification will be assessed by a portfolio of evidence. Your personal assessor will conduct monthly meetings via Teams to review and develop your progress towards the qualification. | All assessments need to be passed, and each will directly assess the knowledge, skills and behaviours of the qualification.
