Overview

A work-based qualification that develops the knowledge and practical skills needed to provide care and support in health and social care settings. It covers key areas such as person-centred care, communication, safeguarding, health and safety, and supporting individuals with daily living needs. The qualification is designed for people working, or preparing to work, in care roles such as care assistants or support workers in residential, community, or domiciliary care settings.

Assessment

The qualification will be assessed by a portfolio of evidence. Your personal assessor will conduct monthly meetings via Teams to review and develop your progress towards the qualification. | All assessments need to be passed, and each will directly assess the knowledge, skills and behaviours of the qualification.
